#asktheexpert My 8 month old son keep on rubbing his eyes throughout the day.No redness in eyes is visible. Please suggest what should we do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water. normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again. use hygienic cloth as well as your xhands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular dischargex coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection . do not use any drops witout medical consultation

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. Clean the eyes of the child with cold water that is what is going to be helpful and stay if you do not see anything is wrong like redness or anything is there they need not worry about it it could be just due to some dust into the eyes of the child
