#AskTheExpert my 7 weeks old baby girl birth weight is 2.9kg. now she is 3.8kg. Dr. told she is 500gm lesser wrigt than normal. what to do

A. nothing like that. give only breastmilk till completion of six months. massage regularly. give Sunbath every morning. start vitamin d and multivitamins supplements regularly. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year

A. Hi mom Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby for weight gain. Feed for longer time from one side so that baby gets both fore milk and Hind milk. Hind milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby. Then switch to the other side to feed ur baby
