#AskTheExpert my 7 month baby girl had just intussusception ,it solves automatically before surgery ,will it happen again ? what precautions can i take?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 7 months old and she had a intussception and it fade-away automatically so don’t give her rota virus oral dose which is known to cause it

A. Intussusception occurs in one out of every 250 to 1,000 infants and children. Intussusception is rarely seen in newborn infants. Sixty percent of those who develop intussusception are between 2 months and 1 year old.
