A. you don't need to add salt, sugar, jaggery in baby food. Babies doesn't know sweet or salt taste unless we introduce it. keep offer the non sweet food first. avoid orange till 1 year of age

A. it happens as I began feeding my infant with cerelac as he was 6 mnths & cerelac is very sweet as it has added milk solids, sugar & salt. I started making foods without sugar or salt & added one spoon of cerelac to that when feeding & gradually decreased the amount of ferelac all together only adding a little natural jaggery or a little ghee. Now he eats non cerelac foods. I try to balance a food with a sweet fruit or vegetable. liked cooked apple or banana or beetroot which can naturally add sweetness to what u prepare. and don't give up do try to encourage ur infant to eat a bite or two or an orange or non sweet fruit & vegetable over time he will develop a taste.
