#AskTheExpert My 6.5 month old baby having cold and cough.. can we put vicks baby vaporizer in steamer for a baby?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. cold is mostly flu infection where basically symptomatic treatment as required give paracetamol for fever and decongestants like sinarest will help also give steam inhalation and hot saline gargles . you can use baby Vicks VapoRub

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and yes you can add some Vicks in baby steam and also better to give baby indirect steam and also apply Luke warm mustard oil on baby chest too. Take care
