#asktheexpert My 2.5 yrs old daughter knows the alphabet, color, fruit and numbers but even after a lot of encouragement she doesn't speak much. What can i do to encourage she to speak up.

A. hello. Spend lots of time communities with your child. Encourage storytelling and sharing information. Don’t try to force your child to speak. Have your child play with kids whose language is a little better than theirs.

A. good evening I would request you to try to keep communicating in small easy sentences with your child if after a couple of months also the problem persists then I would suggest that you should visit a speech therapist
