#AskTheExpert My 11 year old son has fever since yesterday, I have been giving him ibugesic plus half tablet for fever and even 250 MG for vomiting. The fever comes down whenever I put him the tablet but it returns back after sometime. He only has fever and no other symptoms. pls advice what to do?

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose as .can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
