#AskTheExpert My 10 day old boy sleeps for 5 to 6 hours at a stretch. He just doesn't wake up for feed. Is that ok?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. no you have to wake him up every 3 to 4 hrs.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. hello baby has to be feeded on demand or at least once in every 2 hours and the baby is sleeping for around 5 to 6 hours then it would be better to wake your child once in every 2 hours and feed especially first two months which is very important for the growth of the child during the daytime especially
