#AskTheExpert its been 6 days after c section delivery. stil am not able to lactate.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Are you even getting a few drops? If yes then it will eventually pick up just keep taking lots of water and high protein diet like eggs non-vegetarian food milk protein powder etc. Your doctor might consider giving medication if you want. Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 10 m old child3 years agoA. yes doctor, am getting few drops, but not frequently. and my baby is not trying to suck the milk from the nipple. I couldn't feed my baby yet. and my nipples are inverted. am facing a tough time. my baby is taking formula milk only from day 1.
