#AskTheExpert Is it okay to breastfeed my 6 month old immediately after giving semi-solids(mashed rice and ghee with water ) and can I feed him water/gripe water after giving semi solids

A. Hi mom Maintain the gap of 2-3 hours between the meal and the breast feed otherwise baby will vomit. Yes u can give water to ur baby. Avoid giving gripe water as it contains alcohol and opium like substance which is not good for babies
