Q.

#AskTheExpert is it normal for a 8 month old to pads tight pebble like stool? she strains while passing stool but is otherwise not showing any signs of discomfort.

A. Constipation in Babies less than 6 to 10 months is very common and more in formula fed babies. you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age

A. Ya Normal if your child is either suffering with constipation or your child is having dehydration issue in the body because when the child has dehydration issues it is very normal and common for them to pass motion like this so you should try to maintain hydration in the body by giving really good amount of water to the child
