#AskTheExpert In my last checkuo my doctor told me that the uterus is not open yet. she has called me on 7th aug for induced labor. I am in my 40th week. should I wait or go for the induced labor.. also what are the chances for c section in such a case

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. yes go for induction.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

U Should get the labour pain induced this is the right time see I would have advised you to wait but the thing is that if your child has potty inside the stomach then it is going to be a problem then it would be like an emergency C section or something so I don’t know if your doctor is advising you to go for inducing the pain go for that normal delivery is possible if your cervix open properly otherwise you may have to go for a C section
