A. Dear parent, to reduce your weight, you have to eat mindfully and also exercise every day for 45 to 60 minutes. Have an active lifestyle. Avoid junk foods. Have a balanced diet having variety of food groups. Have fresh vegetables and fruits. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small frequent meals and adequate fluid intake.
