#AskTheExpert I'm feeding mom of 7 month baby more than a month I have heavy breast pain and cracked nipple onright side....I tried many antibiotics and painkillers advised by my gynecologist...but no use....my baby refused to drink by nipple shield and bottle feed...please give me any solution

whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructions given by the doctor and if there is no improvement after three days then take a folloxw up.
so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not .

mam ,you need to try different feeding positions
for example
cradle position
Cross cradle position
etc
make sure the whole aoreola part of your breast should be covered well by your child mouth at feeding time.
mam ,for cracked nipple , apply nip care cream or try cool pack there
but always Rinse it well before you start feeding your child.
