Q.
#AskTheExpert I'm 39 weeks 1 day pregnant, cervix is not dilated yet, and head is not engaged. Had performed membrane sweep 2 days back, but didn't work to start labour. My OBGYN has recommended to intake 10 ml castor oil. I'm scared to do so reading the side effects. Please advise.

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. do as per recommendation castor oil will induce bowel. . movements and that might induce labour in you so you can follow up with the advice of your treating doctor
