#AskTheExpert I have completed 6 months post delivery I am breastfeeding mother should I start the sinus treatment. Please let us know the reason if not.

A. Pseudoephedrine and phenylephedrine are oral decongestants for treating nasal congestion caused by colds, allergies, and sinus infections. Both ingredients are common in over-the-counter medications and considered safe while breast-feeding.

A. Hi mom. Yes u can start with the sinus treatment. There is no problem in that. Make sure to tell ur doctor that u are breastfeeding mother so that the medicines are prescribed accordingly. Take care
