#AskTheExpert I have been struggling with the problem of painful intercourse post my c-section delivery. My obgyn advised me to use xylocaine 2% jelly at the time of contact. Is it safe to use?

A. yes you can use the jelly regularly but you should once get a proper examination done to know why exactly the pain is occurring after C section delivery. so consult with your gynecologist for examination

A. Yes it is safe and if it wasn’t save your doctor would have never advised you the same in the first place so please trust your doctor still if you are facing more of a problem or a little bit of irritation during the same time then you should go ahead with further assessment
