A. yes, you can.. make more skin to skin contact with child.. try to latch more often. Natural foods to enhance lactam/ breast milk is dates, nuts, jeera, Dill seeds, ajwain, papaya, spoon of desi ghee and butter plus a katori of assorted nuts everyday. Drink lots of milk and curds and plus proteins supplements. Lactare capsules or powder is a safe medicine or Take CurePerium powder with milk twice a day. Also, avoid taking stress as it reduced milk production.

A. Hi, The key is to feed frequently which will in turn increase your milk supply. Milk secretion increases based on demand. So more and more your baby tries to feed your milk supply will increase. Frequent pumping also helps in increasing milk. Have garlic, garlic milk Fenugreek seeds jeera water nuts oats green leafy vegetables ridge gourd bottle gourd pulses pumpkin dairy products etc in your daily diet. Also check with your gynecologist and get some supplements like galact garnaules prescribed. It helps in increasing breast milk. If brestfeed is not sufficient for the baby. you can start giving formula milk to the baby. Formula milk is the alternative of brestfeed. There are many good brands like nan, lactogen, similac etc. Consult your pediatrician to know which formula milk suits your baby and fulfills the requirements. Take care.
