#asktheexpert i am breastfeeding my kid who ia 1.3 yr old. my menstrual cycle has not started. is it normal?

A. thank you so much for your suggestions. My baby is in habit of sleeping while breastfeeding. he sleep 2 times in day and then in night. wakes up 3-4 times in night for feeding. how can i reduce the feed number.

A. Hi, yes it is completely normal. Since you’ll be breastfeeding your periods might get delayed. And please take necessary precautions. If you have any doubt of pregnancy then please go for the test and follow your gynaecologist direction. Since your baby has completed 1.3 years try to increase more solid food and reduce the number of breastfeed. Once you reduce the number of breastfeed you might get your periods.Write Your Answer Here
