#AskTheExpert i am a breastfeeding mother of two months old. if i take cremafin plus or lactulis ( which was prescribe earlier during pregnancy by gyn) for constipation, will it effect my baby. kindly help.

A. Breastfeeding mothers are also not recommended to use cremaffin plus as it may pass on to the baby through the breast milk, which can potentially harm the baby. If you are prescribed cremaffin plus during pregnancy or breastfeeding, it is necessary that you talk to your doctor about the potential risks and benefits.
