#AskTheExpert I am 39 weeks pregnant my cervix hasn't dilated yet what should I do to dialte my cervix faster I have everything under control my reports are all normal. I want a normal delivery without cervix dilation normal delivery is impossible my last period was on March 19 2021 my due date from the scan was 7 january 2022 . Is there any risk to fetus if i didn't deliver past due date

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Don’t wait beyond due date. If the cervix has not opened spontaneously then your doctor will consider induction of labor so go ahead with it and there is a chance that you will deliver vaginally.Write Your Answer Here
