A. During a 35-week pregnancy, if the umbilical cord is wrapped around the baby's neck, it's known as a "nuchal cord." This can happen in some pregnancies, and it's relatively common. While it may sound concerning, many babies with a nuchal cord are born without complications. Your healthcare provider will monitor the situation closely and make decisions based on the specific circumstances of your pregnancy. In some cases, they may recommend a cesarean section (C-section) to ensure the baby's safety during delivery. It's crucial to communicate openly with your healthcare provider about your concerns and to follow their guidance. They will take the necessary steps to ensure a safe delivery for you and your baby.
