#asktheexpert I am 26 weeks pregnant and I have itching in the pubic area from past 3 days. I under went urine test a week ago & doctor said everything is normal and some bacteria present in urine and asked me to take lot of water. I have attached the report here. Can you please take a look and let me know is the itching and report normal ? Also can I use candid ointment for the same ? Thanks in advance.

See Candid be is specifically for fungal infection not for bacterial infection and actually if your doctor is asking you to have a good amount of water to try to have at least 5 to 6 L on an every day basis so that will help in flowing out this bacterial infection out of your system so go ahead with whatever your gynaecologist is advising you to
