#asktheexpert I am 19 weeks 6 days pregnant....In anomaly scanning posterior placenta 3.5 cm from internal os....is this position can cause c section ???and baby is on breach presentation....

A. It’s all right if the placenta is 3.5 cm away from the cervical opening. If it gets less than 2.5 cm only then it is an indication for surgery. Otherwise you could still give a trial as long as the baby is cephalic.
