The child's regular meals should comprise of cereals, pulses, greens, vegetables, fruits, nuts, dry fruits, dairy products etc., There should be more protein and Vitamin C intake which are very good in building immunity. Vegetables, fruits and spices protect the child from falling sick, cereals, nuts and dry fruits provide energy, protein rich foods help in the child's growth and Milk and milk products does all three jobs - protection, energy, body building. You should make sure all these are in balance in ur child's regular meals.Keep interacting with your baby, make him feel safe, sleep well and help him engage socially. This will boost his brain.
You can show age appropriate books or flash cards and help ur baby learn new things. Babies grasp quickly at young age.
You can include brain friendly foods in the baby's diet like apples, banana, avacado, sweet potato, carrots, pumpkin, whole grains, deep colored vegetables, turmeric, yogurt and oatmeal. Berries, green leafy vegetables, spinach, Nuts, eggs, fishes can be included.
