#AskTheExpert HIB Booster vaccine is missed for my daughter ( 17 months old). HIB is available in combination with DPT. Whereas only DPT vaccine was given. What I have to do now

A. What did u do finally… did u give another dose of hib -+dtap to baby. Similiar case is with me also. Dtap given to baby and hib missed

A. I mean to say that DPT vaccine was administered and Hib vaccine is missed. Now Hib is only available in combination with DPT in market. What I have to do now. Can the combined dose of vaccine can be given as DPT will be repeated with in 3 weeks.

A. can be. Vaccination should be done now as most of Vaccination schedule has been disturbed during this covid period specially under 1 yr of vaccines should be completed . Also go for yearly influenza vaccine as per covid reccomendation .
