#AskTheExpert hi.. we are blessed with a baby boy who is 21 days old.. we have one query he feeds at a interval on 45 mins to 1 hour and at instance he throws out the milk/curd like/ water out even after burp and tapping him for 10 to 15 mins.. so is it normal..

A. As long as your baby is growing and gaining weight and doesn't seem uncomfortable with the spitting up, it's OK. The amount of spit up often looks more than it actually is. But spitting up isn't the same as forcefully vomiting all or most of a feeding. If you're concerned that your baby is vomiting, call your doctor.

Q. #AskTheExpert#MamyPoko Hi Sir. My delivery happened few days ago and I was blessed with baby boy. He is 16 days old now completing 2 weeks. I have query regarding his feeding pattern. He is taking feeds for 40 - 45 mins now and if he's not falling asleep with that, he would again demand for milk. Again that would be a small feed for 15-20 mins. So in one and a half or 2 hours he would feed sometimes for an hour or 1 hr 15-20 minutes not at a stretch but breaking the feed. (45 mins feed first, a gap and again for 15-20 mins). So wanted to check if it is normal for new born to feed for this much time 45 mins to 1 hr 20 mins. Few suggested that the ideal time would be 20 mins to half n hour per feed. Kindly let know you're thoughts on this.
