#AskTheExpert Hi Sir, Madam, My 3 months old baby is irregular in motion since 45 days. He is getting motion for every 6/7 days that too with home remedy tips. 2 weeks back we consulted doctor and adviced to have drops for baby and doing the same still no result. So following home remedy. Today is 7th day since last motion and did home remedy still he didn't go to motion. We are worrying a lot about this as why he is not going to motion properly. Note: Weight wise he looks good w.r.t age

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. No need to worry about the frequency and colour of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.
Also there is no need to worry about the smell of the stool if the consistency is normal.
you have txo meet the doctor if it is watery inconsistency or hard consistency otherwise semi solid to solid stool is normal.
