#AskTheExpert hi sir, I had period like cramps in my 39 weeks of pregnancy.so i go to gynecologist , she checked my cervix that still was not opened . also she checked my bp 158/ 97 , she said that bp is so high ,you can not get induced by injection. you have to go emergency c section. my question is that normal delivery was possible or not in this condition? was my bp really high?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. yes it can be labor. Well, this looks ok but avoid self medication. try giving proper diet n don't miss on dose in this. Contraception of proper types you need. regularly use n not missing is important. avoid multiple dose change
