#AskTheExpert Hi Priyashree, Does speech therapy really work? If yes can you please let me know the success rate. My kid is 3 year 2 months old. He understands everything and tells everything but not able to speak as sentence and few words he will speak the last letter. Few concerns are he is toe walking. Not able to mingle with the kids(Does speech therapy works for this) Could you please help me with the above things......

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. yes obviously it's does. speech delay can be due to many reasons and hence to know it needs a detailed examination ENT specialist visit to know any hearing impairment or any stimulus causes of poor speech in baby . Speech therapy is also of help .
