#AskTheExpert Hi, my kid is 3yrs 8months old, she's school going. she's not showing interest to eat food on her own, completely dependent on mom. I don't know why this behaviour. also she's afraid of little things happening around. how to overcome these. pls advice

It is ok.
Give finger food as self feeding encourages eating on own.
Give food in colourful and attractive plates like babyhug plates that attract baby towards food and eats himself.
It will be fine gradually.
secondly
getting scared of the things around is very much normal. Now the child has started going to school, the behaviour will cahnge gradually as the child gets exposure, confidence will come with time.
