Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi my daughter is 18 months old not yet walking independently... I consulted paediatrics recently and they said nothing to worry everything normal with her and she will walk... But it's already 18 months for her... I m worried.. pls help..

A. usually they walk without support by 18 months of age but if it is absent as well as examined by the doctor and the doctor has given reassurance then there is no need to worry just wait and watch and give regular massage as well as diet which will help in improving the walking capacity of the child

A. hello delay walking can happen around 17 months also on some babies and since the baby is 18 months and if no signs of walking then it is better to check with your orthopaedic orthopaedic and he will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
