Q.

#asktheexpert hi , my child is 16 months old. He has started walking independently, however he still takes a bare minimum support to stand . When do children start standing up on their own? How long does it usually take?

A. Kids usually should learn to walk between the age of 12 to 17 months when we talk about independent walking if your child is taking support like maybe 10% support but 90% more confident walk independently then it’s fine just give it one more month I think your child is going to reach the milestone just try and encourage your child and boost the confidence of your child
