#asktheexpert hi my baby is 6.5months old and he is having cold, giving medicine as prescribed by the doctor but still he is not able to beeathe

Nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inshalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
