#AskTheExpert Hi..My baby is 16 months old and she has no signs of teeth yet. Is it required to visit a dentist?

A. yes. the first dental visit is mandatory by the child's first birthday. and the maximum you can wait fir the first tooth to erupt in the child's mouth is 18 months of age

A. While it's recommended to speak with a dental professional if they don't have teeth when they turn nine months, remember that the normal age range for a baby's first tooth is wide and ranges from four to 18 months!
