#AskTheExpert Hi, My baby girl was born with birth weight of 3.48kg. she is currently 7 months old and weighs only 7kg. She is active and achieving all milestones in time. please advise if this less weight gain is a cause for concern.

A. Dear parent, weight of 7 kg is absolutely normal for 7 months old baby, do not worry. Also, your baby being active indicates good health. Baby’s weight at this age should be in the range of 6 kg to 9.8 kg.
