#asktheexpert hi, my 40 days old baby sleeps a lot, not wakes up for stretch 4 hrs for feed, should I wake her up in between or should I wait her to wake up she takes breastfeed only when awake otherwise I am bound to give her formula milk forcefully. what should I do?

A. If the child is sleeping in a deep sleep then there is no need to wake up the child to feed the child I do agree sometimes kids do not wake up for four hours at a stretch but that is completely alright you should only be feeding your child on demand specially when the child is sleeping in deep sleep for a longer duration
