#AskTheExpert Hi..I am lactating mother of 2.5old.month girl..can i take covid vaccine shot?If yes then any precautions required?

A. Thanks for info.But my Gynae said to go for it and even Dr.Guleria of AIIMS has said yes about it in his last video however there are no evidence or study yet so very confusing

A. Hello, your baby girl is 2.5 months old and she is taking breast feeding and if you want to take Covid vaccination then it’s not advisable at all as it’s safety is not determined yet

A. according to the current guidelines the recommendation for lactating mothers pregnant women and children ixs not there for covid-19 vaccine so it cannot be given to these category of people so wait
