#AskTheExpert hi I am 38 weeks pregnant. I am having cold and cough and at the same time delivery date is close. doctor said that c section will be performed. will cold and cough affect my stitches later on

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. Laughing, sneezing, and coughing might hurt—a lot.
The best thing you can do when you feel like laughing—or coughing or sneezing—is to put a pillow over your stitches and press it onto yourself. I wish I'd known this pain-soothing C-section recovery exercise beforehand.
