#AskTheExpert hi, greetings for the day. I have been posted this question many times but didn't get clear answer. pl hep me. I have 6 month baby n breastfeeding him. I have started compliment food n further gonna continue breastfeeding upto 1 n half year. my question is, can i take herbalife weightloss protein shake for weightloss as meal replacement. will it cause any harm to my baby. pl explain. since am working women I cant prepare diet food all the time. so i have choosed herbalife meal replacement. pl give an clear explanation. thanks

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. I would not recommend the use of ANY slimming pill or potion, including the herbal ones, when you are breast feeding because some of the ingredients which may even be addictive may pass into your breast milk and affect your baby.
