#AskTheExpert Hi Dr please let me know I m having high Thyroid issue. I m in my 15th week of pregnancy and suffering from body pain. I don't feel energetic at all. My TSH is 6 . 65 as per the test. and till now only my one usg is done. My first usg was normal. and i am taking thyroxine 100 mg. how much dose should I take regularly and what other medicines should I take. also when should I go for next usg?

A. to report you first you should not take hundred MCG dose of thyroid medication as your thyroid level is at normal and you should consult with your doctor immediately to lower down the doors taking much higher medicine maybe the reason why you are feeling weakness

A. Take prenatal vitamins as directed. Your need for certain vitamins and minerals, such as folic acid, increases during pregnancy. Prenatal vitamins provide some of the extra vitamins and minerals you need. Prenatal vitamins may also help to decrease the risk of certain birth defects.
