#AskTheExpert Hi Dr. My baby is a month is a month old and she suffered congestion. attached medicines are going on now we are observing that more sound while breathing is coming. is it due to dilution of mucus? As a second opinion are the medicines ok? pls help us

A. due to simple secretions which is present in the respiratory tract this type of respiratory sounds are very commonly seen but if the respiratory rate of the child is normal and the child is not having any breathing problem there is no need to give any medicine for that and it will improve in next few days to weeks
