Q.

#AskTheExpert hi doctor, post 7th month of delivery, I had my first periods (June). my last periods came in October. Till, that, periods came every month. from October onwards, no periods. last sunday, I had light spottings thought. and Now I remember, I saw very tiny blood spot on last month also. not sure if periods. do I need to consult a gyanec? I have history of pcod. my weight is 58kg, height 153. breast feeding kid twice a day. also, if periods doesn't come in a month, will that harm my uterus?

A. everything is possible after delivery depending on your body n hormones. It's normal after delivery. There is nothing much to worry. Sometimes it would bleed less sometimes more. Missing periods for a while.. Sometimes it may even take time.it may even take a year to resume for few. It differs for each mum. it's all due to hormonal imbalance post delivery.
