#AskTheExpert Hi doctor... My son is 2.5 years and has been crying complaining of leg pain especially in the calf muscle area during nights... what could be the reason? How can we treat this?

A. it s grwoth aches and pains. for this concern can take advise of a nearby doctor and then can follow advise for the same as that is after seeing the baby so it is best for baby .

A. hi dear 10% of healthy children have harmless leg pains that come and go. These are often called growing pains (although they have nothing to do with growth). Growing pains usually occur in the calf or thigh muscles. They usually occur on both sides, not one side.
