#AskTheExpert hi doctor, my baby now 83 days. he is not gain weight. his birth weight is 2700g and now his weight 3600 only. how can I increase baby weight

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Have lot of skin to skin sessions with your baby. This is called kangaroo therapy. Both father and mother can do it. This warmth will greatly help to improve baby's weight. Also while breastfeeding, you can feed longer from one side, so that the baby will get the hind milk which comes later and has higher fat content than the foremilk which comes first.
