Q.

#AskTheExpert hi doctor.. my baby is 4 months old.. I'm breast feeding my baby.. I'm on thyroid medication eltroxin 25mcg.. my thyroid level was always below 3 during pregnancy and now it's become 15.5 after the delivery.. should I increase my medicine dose and will it affect my baby?

A. Hi You cannot increase the dosage of your medicine because you feel that you should increase it it is not like that it doesn’t work like that you should just consult your Doctor Who ever is monitoring your thyroid issues and accordingly if the doctor advises you to increase the dosage then you only you increase it otherwise don’t
