#asktheexpert Hi doctor! My 4 month old baby is having a cold and slight fever. Her nose seems to be blocked. Kindly suggest something. one more thing I want to ask is that before sleeping my baby yells and screams a lot and it lasts for more than half an hour.I have tried every possible method to calm her down but she takes her time to settle down

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is gifyven.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steamf inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Bonnisan you can give five drops of this to your child because your child would be crying due to stomach pain with how you are mentioning the child behave secondly for cold and cough you can go ahead with givingallegra to your child that is also going to be healthy but since your child is too small I would recommend you to check with your paediatrician
