Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi doctor, I have wean off my baby since yesterday, but my breast are hurting so much.. Should I pump out excess milk?? or is there any medicine to take??

A. yes pls do that and take meds . for this concern can take advise of a nearby doctor and then can follow advise for the same as that is after seeing the baby so it is best for baby .

A. Hello good morning !! Stop breast feeding gradually as you have stopped suddenly milk will form as lumps and hurts. Do hot pack (keep cloth dipped in warm water) or ice pack (ice cubes in a cloth) put on Breasts where you have lumps and express out excess milk . If you have unbearable pain then consult Gynaecologist doctor will suggest you medication for pain relief and non lactation medication to Stop milk production.
