A. hii Breastfeed your child directly for at least the first six months. Directly feed the child as much as possible. Holding the baby close and feeding her directly increases the hormone oxytocin in your body. This hormone is responsible for the let-down effect that causes milk to be released from your body. The greater the oxytocin level is in the body, the stronger the let-down effect will be.
