#asktheexpert Hi Doctor, I have a almost 5 years old boy and from last month he has been having really bad cold and cough and I did all the medication required and then I stopped after completing the full course but his coughing has not gone fully it has been consistently there since then ...what is wrong and should be done to cure and also to protect him from getting cold.

There will be a gradual improvement with time. We find that almost it is taking around 3 to 4 weeks for a total recovery. Inform your doctor for further assistance.
